parking.brussels manages on-street parking across much of the Brussels-Capital Region. If you find a "payment invitation" for an unpaid or expired session, here is how the dispute works.
You have only 10 days
The deadline to object is 10 calendar days from receiving the payment invitation — one of the shortest in the country. Do not wait. Paying within the deadline does not waive your right to contest, and the amount is refunded if your objection succeeds.
How to submit
You can object by ordinary or registered mail to parking.brussels, or through the objection form on their website. Registered post gives you proof of the date — useful given how short the window is. The postal address is: parking.brussels, Rue du Maïeur 8-10, 1000 Brussels.
Good reasons to object
- You had a valid ticket, app session or resident card at the time.
- The licence plate on the invitation is wrong.
- The car was sold, stolen or not in your possession.
- Signage or the meter was out of order.
What happens next
